View AllThis exclusive private full-day Military & Citadel Explorer tour is designed for guests arriving at Noi Bai International Airport from Tuesday to Sunday. Your dedicated guide and private vehicle will meet you at the airport and take you straight to the most important historical and military sites of Hanoi.
Airport Pickup: Between 06:30 – 08:30 AM at Noi Bai International Airport (flexible according to your flight arrival). Our representative will wait with a name sign in the arrival hall.
09:00 – 10:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex first (due to early closing time). Pay respects at the Mausoleum (where the embalmed body of President Ho Chi Minh rests), admire the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, and explore the humble stilt houses and peaceful gardens.
10:45 – 12:00: Continue to the Vietnam Military History Museum. View powerful outdoor displays of tanks, planes, helicopters, and artillery used in Vietnam’s wars, along with indoor exhibits detailing the nation’s military history.
12:15 – 13:15: Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a reputable local restaurant.
13:45 – 15:15: Explore the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through ancient archaeological ruins, the majestic Kinh Thien Palace, and learn about more than 1,000 years of Vietnamese royal history.
15:30 – 16:30: Tour Hoa Lo Prison, a profoundly moving site originally built by the French colonists and later used during the Vietnam War, famously known as the “Hanoi Hilton”.
16:45 – 18:00: Take a relaxing guided stroll around beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Old Quarter.

This Private Full Day Military & Citadel Explorer Tour with airport pickup is available only from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays and Fridays for Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum).
The itinerary is flexible and can be adjusted based on your exact flight arrival time.
Children Policy: Child 5–11 years old = 75% of adult rate. Child under 5 years old = Free of charge (FOC, sharing seat and meals with parents). Children taller than 1 meter will pay full entrance fees where applicable.
All sites in this tour are open on the operating days.
The tour is suitable for all ages with moderate walking involved.
