    Angkor Wat

Between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, depart from your hotel in Siem Reap to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat, where the sun rises behind the five carved towers of this largest religious building in the world. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then continue exploring Angkor Wat, marveling at its classical Khmer architecture and vast scale.

In the afternoon, travel 30 km north through the beautiful Cambodian countryside, passing small typical villages, to visit Banteay Srei, known as the Fortress of the Women. Stop en route at Banteay Samre, a temple with exquisite carvings. Banteay Srei, built with pink sandstone, features elaborate floral motifs and Ramayana scenes, with carvings so fine they’re said to be crafted by women.

In the evening, enjoy dinner with a fascinating Apsara dance show at a local restaurant, showcasing traditional Khmer dance-drama.

Return to your hotel in Siem Reap between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
