The next leg of your journey takes you to Chiang Mai, a charming city in northern Thailand, where you'll discover the stunning Doi Suthep temple and enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner. The highlight of your time in Chiang Mai will be the Mae Tang trekking experience, where you'll spend a full day exploring the lush jungle, with a half-day spent caring for gentle elephants.

After immersing yourself in Chiang Mai's rich culture and nature, you'll journey to Chiang Rai and explore the famous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. You'll then fly back to Bangkok and travel to the tropical paradise of Koh Samui.

After breakfast at your hotel, between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM, embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok’s most famous temples.

Your first stop is Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, renowned for its 900-year-old, five-and-a-half-ton solid gold Buddha statue. Next, visit Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, an iconic landmark offering stunning views of Bangkok. Then, explore Wat Pho, Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple, home to the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha statue in Thailand, and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch on your own.

In the afternoon, continue to the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, two of Bangkok’s most famous attractions. The Grand Palace, adjacent to Wat Phra Kaew, features European-inspired designs with Thai-style roofs, forming a historic compound.

After breakfast at your hotel, between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM, we’ll pick you up and travel north to the Mae Tang area, stopping briefly at the local market in Mae Malai. Proceed to a small riverside elephant camp, where elephantssocialize with a few trekkers and roam to the river. Spend approximately 2 hours at the camp, participating in the elephants’ morning bath (bring a swimsuit), learning how to care for these gentle animals, and making traditional elephant medicine from natural ingredients and a natural elephant scrubber from forest vines.

Following the elephant camp, enjoy lunch, then embark on a trek through lush forest to a jungle waterfall, where you can shower under the cooling cascade. Trek to the rafting camp and board white water rafting boats for a 5km paddledown the Mae Tang River, featuring big rapids in the wet season. Afterward, transfer to waiting transportation and return to your hotel in Chiang Mai between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
